Martela Streamlines Invoicing Processes Across the Nordics with Ropo’s Technology

The Finnish family-owned company Martela has modernized its invoicing processes with the help of Ropo’s invoice lifecycle service, which is in use in Finland, Sweden, and Norway. The primary goals of this initiative were to enhance process efficiency and accelerate cash flow.

“Ropo’s service has enabled us to automate our reminder and collection processes, improving the recovery of receivables and accelerating our cash flow. A clear and efficient process has also reduced manual work and freed up our resources to focus on developing our core business,” Berg summarizes.

Martela uses the service in Finland, Sweden, and Norway, and Ropo also handles invoice operations to other parts of Europe.

Comprehensive financial management on a single platform

“The status of the invoice is tracked automatically throughout its entire lifecycle. When due dates are exceeded, reminder and collection actions are initiated automatically according to a pre-set process. The invoice status is also updated via integrations into Martela’s internal systems,” explains Jani Rönkkö, Key Account Manager at Ropo.

“Thanks to versatile customization options, invoicing processes can also be tailored to suit different client segments,” Rönkkö adds.
