Culture and Talent Highlight
In this series, we highlight the individuals who make our business unique. Here, you will get to know the employees behind the successes – their journeys, talents, and how they contribute to shaping our culture. Through their stories, we gain insight into how individual strengths collaborate to create a dynamic and forward-thinking work environment.
A lot has happened since Henrik Voegelen started at Ropo 9 years ago. When our platform, Ropo One, was to be implemented in Sweden, Henrik led the project. Once the platform was in place, Henrik ensured a smooth implementation for the first customers in Sweden. Today, Ropo One is an integral part of everyone’s daily life, and Henrik works as a Technical Project Manager, where he is responsible for implementing new customers into our platform.
“If I were to describe my role to someone outside the industry, I’d say I define technical solutions, coordinate resources, and follow through to ensure that a solution and service delivery become reality.”
A typical day at work
A typical day for Henrik involves client meetings, documentation, gathering and defining requirements, conversations with developers, and of course, testing to ensure everything works as it should. But the most rewarding part is when an implementation project is complete—and the result is a satisfied customer who’s now ready to use our platform and services in their daily operations!
“There are many projects that stand out, but one particularly memorable one involved a large real estate client divided into several regions. That meant I got to work with different project teams located across Sweden. It brought variety to the work and allowed me to build a wide network of contacts along the way!”
Development and Innovation
As a Technical Project Manager at Ropo, a passion for growth is essential. The role requires continuous learning and broad knowledge across many areas. You’ll often be part of an innovative process, creating new solutions that bring excitement and energy to the work.
Motivation and Company Culture
While satisfied customers are a strong motivator, working in an environment built on respect and a sense of community is just as important. Ropo is a Nordic company, which means you often get the chance to meet and collaborate with colleagues from across the region.
“The company culture at Ropo is defined by positivity, forward-thinking, and pride in who we are and what we deliver. One thing that sets us apart from other workplaces is that, even though we’ve grown significantly during my time here, we’ve managed to keep the flexibility and close-knit feel of a smaller company—with strong connections between departments and functions.”
