Efficient Invoicing Gives PELIAS More Time for What Matters Most: Their Customers

PELIAS Norsk Skadedyrkontroll is a leading player in pest control in Norway with over 35 years of experience. As a company with a strong focus on development, technology, and operational efficiency, PELIAS CFO Leonel Ojala says it was natural to look for solutions that could simplify financial processes in line with their growth ambitions.

From manual processes to automated flow

Previously, much of PELIAS’ invoicing was manual. There was no automated logic for how invoices were sent, making processes time-consuming.

“Following up on outstanding payments was also challenging. Good system integrations were missing, which contributed to making follow-up cumbersome and manual,” explains Ojala.

The company implemented a Unify solution, which includes multi-channel invoice delivery, reminder and collection processes, end-customer services, the Ropo OneView analytics tool, and integrated accounts receivable management.

More time for customers

Following implementation, PELIAS experiences seamless collaboration between different systems. The CFO notes that with an annual revenue of 300 million NOK in 2024 and a large volume of smaller invoices each month, they have seen significant value in automation.

“The systems flow well together, and most processes run automatically, giving the finance department more time for value-creating work. We’ve simply gained more time to focus on creating the best possible services for our customers,” he adds.
