Mehiläinen Streamlines Its Invoice Lifecycle with Ropo’s One-Provider Model

Mehiläinen, a leading private social and healthcare service provider in Finland, has selected Ropo as its partner in a competitive tender for invoice lifecycle services. Beginning in summer 2018, Mehiläinen will transition to Ropo’s one-provider model. The tailored end-to-end solution includes invoice delivery, receivables management, and customer service related to payments.

The Mehiläinen Group employs approximately 37,000 social and healthcare professionals and serves 2.2 million customers annually across 890 locations in Finland. Its customer base includes private individuals, companies, insurance providers, and public-sector organizations.

Previously, Mehiläinen’s invoicing and payment monitoring processes were handled through multiple partners, each responsible for different areas. Transitioning to Ropo’s service model will unify and streamline the invoice lifecycle into a highly automated process.

The solution offered to Mehiläinen includes invoice delivery, receivables management and payment advisory services. Going forward, customer service related to invoices and payments will be handled through Ropo’s contact centers located in Kuopio and Porvoo.

The preparation phase for Mehiläinen’s invoicing renewal is underway, and the deployment project will begin during the spring. The healthcare group will transition to Ropo’s invoice lifecycle model in summer 2018.
