Ropo’s Sustainability Report 2025 Published

From commitments to everyday practice

Ropo’s Sustainability Report 2025 is now available, offering a transparent overview of our progress, actions, and commitments across responsible service delivery, people and working environment, and climate-friendly invoice lifecycle.

In 2025, our sustainability work progressed across all focus areas, reinforcing the structures, systems, and ways of working that keep responsible business conduct embedded in our everyday operations across our Nordic operations.

“Ropo’s sustainability vision – to make the invoice lifecycle more digital, ethical, and data-driven – guides the development of our services, technology, and ways of working across the organization. This fifth sustainability report offers a transparent walkthrough of how that vision is embedded into our everyday operations and how we continue to drive growth through responsible business practices,” says Jenni Jantunen, Chief Brand and Communications Officer at Ropo.

Governance and quality: from principles to audited practice

In 2025, our governance maturity was demonstrated in the most concrete way: our group-wide surveillance audit across all three operating countries concluded with zero non-conformities across ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO/IEC 27001. We also renewed our ISAE 3402 Type II certification in all markets. These results reflect the depth of our management systems and the consistency with which they are applied across the group.

Risk management also took a structural step forward with the implementation of the Granite risk management tool, bringing greater transparency and accountability to group-wide risk identification. A public compliance portal on our website, planned for launch in 2026, will further strengthen governance transparency for all stakeholders.

Responsible service delivery built on Ropo One®

Throughout 2025, our continued focus on standardized service delivery through Ropo One®, our proprietary platform, yielded measurable improvements across quality and operating stability: quality scores improved from 64.5% to 68.4%, and operating stability from 62.4% to 70.7%, indicating successful development initiatives and consistency in daily operations.

Both Ropo One® and MyRopo achieved 100% uptime throughout the year, ensuring continuous and reliable service for clients and end customers. In addition, MyRopo, our end-customer communication and self-service channel, reached full compliance with the European Accessibility Act (EAA), supporting inclusive access and improved usability for all users.

Looking ahead, 2026 will bring further developments in how we serve our clients – including the continued alignment of our client success practices across all markets, the launch of a public compliance portal, and our newly launched developer portal on our website.

“Sustainability is an ongoing journey. Each year, we challenge ourselves to continuously improve by strengthening our practices, empowering our people, supporting ongoing development, reducing our climate impact, and growing as a learning organization.”

– Jenni Jantunen, Chief Brand and Communications Officer, Ropo

People: investing in the structures that support our team

Our employees are at the heart of what we do, and 2025 brought meaningful progress in how we support them across the group. We launched a new group-wide onboarding training program with country-specific learning paths, advanced our compensation transparency work, and took significant steps toward a job-classification–based structure – supporting transparent and fair compensation across all countries.

Group-wide eNPS increased from 10 to 14, and overall employee satisfaction was 3.9 on a scale of 1–5. Employees consistently highlighted strong team spirit, a positive working atmosphere, and an open culture. A group-wide HR system, launching in 2026, will further harmonize people management practices across our markets.

Climate: enabling a greener invoice lifecycle

The digitalization of invoicing remains our most impactful contribution to reducing the environmental footprint of the invoice lifecycle. In 2025, 78% of all invoices and documents processed through our services were delivered digitally – up four percentage points from the previous year. Our direct emissions continued to decline, supported by improvements in energy sourcing and our transition toward a lower-emission company car fleet.

Strengthening Scope 3 reporting capabilities and working toward invoice-specific emission reporting remain priorities for the coming years.
