This Christmas, Ropo continues its tradition of supporting meaningful causes that reflect our values and purpose. Guided by our employees’ annual vote, we direct our donations to organizations that make a difference where it’s needed most. During the holiday season, our aim is to bring support, dignity, and hope to children and families in challenging circumstances.
In this year’s vote, our employees highlighted two meaningful causes that resonate strongly with the challenges children and families face today. Ropo’s 2025 Christmas donation will be directed to:

Hope ry – Supporting low-income families in Finland
Hope ry provides practical assistance to low-income and crisis-affected families across Finland through clothing and essential goods, as well as hobby and leisure support for children and young people. With 20 local branches and a nationwide volunteer network, Hope works to ensure that every child has equal opportunities for everyday life – especially during the holiday season.

UNICEF – Protecting children in crisis
UNICEF operates globally to protect children living in the midst of humanitarian crises, conflict, and natural disasters. From access to clean water and shelter to healthcare and safe education, UNICEF reaches children where the need is greatest and immediate.
A donation shaped by our employees
As employees cast their votes for this year’s donation, many highlighted the need to support children facing economic hardship, rising living costs, and crisis situations – in Finland and around the world. Several comments expressed a desire to bring light into difficult circumstances, especially during the holidays:
“Every child deserves the chance to experience joy.”
“Supporting families facing financial hardship feels especially important this year.”
“UNICEF reaches children most in need around the world.”
These voices guided us toward two organizations whose work brings both immediate help and long-term impact.
