Managing the complete invoice lifecycle with a single partner
Helsinki Region Environmental Services (HSY), Finland’s largest public environmental services provider, has expanded its partnership with Ropo. Since autumn 2025, the collaboration has covered the complete invoice lifecycle from end to end. Ropo’s comprehensive service streamlines HSY’s invoicing processes while delivering an enhanced service experience for customers.
Ropo’s service encompasses multichannel delivery of HSY’s water services and waste management invoices, payment monitoring, and necessary reminder and collection processes. Additionally, comprehensive reporting enables real-time tracking of invoices and payments.
HSY’s customers receive expert assistance from Ropo’s customer service for payment-related matters, including due date adjustments and payment arrangements. The service is available both through personal assistance and online self-service.

Partnership built on shared vision
HSY provides waste and water services to over one million residents in the Helsinki metropolitan area, covering Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, and Kauniainen. The municipal federation sends approximately 1.2 million invoices annually.
HSY and Ropo’s partnership in invoice delivery has created a solid foundation for deepening the collaboration. The goal is to enhance the efficiency of invoicing processes and provide HSY’s customers with an even smoother customer experience throughout the entire invoicing journey.
