Ropo announces strategic leadership appointments to strengthen its one platform strategy and business process automation

Ropo Group reinforces its leadership and operational capabilities by appointing Ville Räsänen to lead the Product & Technology function and Vesa Laitinen as Head of Business Process & Automation. These appointments further strengthen Ropo’s one platform approach, technology-driven product innovation, and intelligent automation across the Nordic market. Both appointments take effect on 1 June 2026.

Ville Räsänen appointed to lead Product & Technology and joins Group Management Team

To strengthen execution across its platform strategy, Ropo has unified its Product and Technology functions under a single leadership structure. This merger brings product management, platform development, technology operations, and project delivery into a more tightly aligned operating model.

Ville Räsänen, Ropo’s long-serving Chief Product Officer, has been appointed to lead the Product & Technology function and will join the Ropo Group Management Team.

In this role, Räsänen will be responsible for Ropo’s global product strategy, roadmap, and technology foundation. He will focus on customer-centric product development, platform scalability, and cohesive architecture through AI-enabled software engineering, supporting Ropo’s long-term growth and customer value creation.

Vesa Laitinen appointed Head of Business Process & Automation

Ropo has also strengthened process excellence and Ropo One® automation through dedicated leadership by appointing Vesa Laitinen as Head of Business Process & Automation for the Group. Laitinen transitions into the Group role from his position as Director of Operations, Finland.

In his new role, Laitinen will lead the development and scaling of Ropo’s intelligent process automation capabilities across the organization. His responsibilities include strengthening end-to-end invoice lifecycle logic, standardizing service delivery within the Ropo One® platform, and expanding the use of intelligent automation to support client value creation.

Investing in a globally scalable invoice-to-cash process and high-quality automation execution is a key strategic priority for Ropo and a critical enabler of strong customer satisfaction.
