Employee Spotlight: Juho Väliaho, Team Manager for Payment Advicing B2C & Outbound

In this Employee Spotlight, we’re excited to introduce Juho Väliaho, who works in our Kuopio office as a Team Manager for Payment Advicing B2C & Outbound.

Juho leads a team in Ropo’s End Customer Service department, which is responsible for guiding customers through payment-related questions and ensuring that every interaction reflects Ropo in the best possible way.

A typical workday for Juho as a Team Manager is a unique and dynamic blend of empowering his team, solving challenges, and making sure customers feel genuinely supported.

“I spend time coaching, aligning on goals, and celebrating wins—big and small—while continuously improving how we serve our customers”, he adds.

Juho describes Ropo’s culture as “collaborative, courageous, and caring” – values that are especially important in the field of customer service. For a team like Juho’s to work fluently, seamless collaboration is essential. And in many situations, it’s not just about caring for the customer, but also about caring for each other.

When asked about the most rewarding part of his work, Juho circles back to his team:

“There’s nothing more fulfilling than watching individuals build confidence, develop their skills, and deliver exceptional experiences that genuinely make a difference for our customers, and thereby push forward and advance the entire Ropo.”

Juho himself enjoys switching between remote and office work, while his team may include people who might work fully remotely as well as those who prefer being at the office every day. He values both equally.

“Because great teamwork isn’t about where you sit, it’s about how you connect, support each other, and achieve results together”, he explains.
